Estonian Ballet Union scholarship for an outstanding dancer was awarded to Gus Upchurch

On April 29th, the International Dance Day, GUS UPCHURCH was awarded the Estonian Ballet Union scholarship for an outstanding dancer by Triinu Upkin, head of the board of the union at the Estonian National Opera.
Gus Upchurch is a soloist at the Vanemuine ballet where he has stood out in various principal roles in "Moorland Elegies", "Romeo and Juliet", "Swan Lake" e.t.c. In addition, he is a pleasant and hardworking colleague.
CONGRATUALTIONS!
The amount of the scholarship is 350 euros and it is meant for professional development of the awardee. The scholarship owner is decided by the board of the union. In 2021, the scholarship was given to Anna Roberta, demi-soloist of Estonian National Ballet.
